The Position

Our national team work together alongside our key stakeholders across multiple business streams to deliver industry leading loss minimisation services recognised as being integral to our success.

We have a Fixed Term opportunity for an outcome focused Injury Management Advisor to join our team. Your focus will be to provide strategic advice and technical assistance to achieve business objectives with the overall team. This is an ideal opportunity for you to expand your skills within a dynamic environment where you will be supported and mentored throughout. 

This is a Fixed Term opportunity, covering maternity leave for 12 months, based in our office at McMahons Point. 

Key duties

  • Coaching operational management and driving injury management performance;
  • Case managing medical and rehabilitation aspects of the return to work process;
  • Building strategic relationships and effectively managing service providers;
  • Facilitating system and legislative compliance;
  • Supporting the management of fitness for work reviews and pre-employment medicals; and
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of nationwide initiatives to improve injury management processes.

The Person

Your success in this role will stem from your experience, knowledge, and qualification in the following areas

  • Completion of qualifications and experience in a relevant allied health field such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • Case management experience in an occupational rehabilitation context;
  • Sound knowledge of workers compensation legislation;
  • Being highly self-motivated, outcome focused, and proactive with a desire to make a difference;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a strong team; and
  • Your energetic approach and flexible attitude will be rewarded with the opportunity to grow; professionally with a high profile organisation in this field.
