THE POSITION

We are recruiting an IT Business Partner who has experience understanding business strategy development and aligning ‘fit for purpose’ technology solutions that ensures our employee and customer interactions are as easy and timely as possible.

This is a true business partnering role that requires a commercially savvy IT lead to identify pain points across the business sector and utilise their knowledge and understanding of the internal technology landscape to provide solutions. 

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, your primary responsibilities are:

  • Partner with the business and ensure day to day IT support, including escalations and reporting from the IT Services team, is managed appropriately across the business division. 
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify business challenges and review and recommend wholistic technology solutions that meet overall business objectives and align with the team direction
  • Own and drive end to end solutions, whilst working with internal and external IT vendor providers.
  • Manage the delivery of business cases, project scope and required documents, test plans and rollout communication.
  • Define and gain agreement on project budgets, ensure projects track to the budget

THE PERSON

  • Strong business analysis skills, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with all stakeholders
  • Able to exercise independent judgement when developing methods, techniques, architectures and standards
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical internal teams and clients
  • Tertiary Qualifications in a related field
