About the role

Can you see the bigger picture? In this fast-paced and changing environment you will bring into account your consultative approach where you will collaborate with compass stakeholders. Your key responsibility will be to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges whilst providing in-depth business & technical strategy for systems solutions, identify business gaps and correlate to potential solutions.

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will;

  • Partner with the business and ensure day to day IT support, including escalations and reporting from the IT Services team is managed appropriately across the business division whilst developing and managing direct relationships with subject matter experts.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify business challenges, review and recommend technology solutions that meets overall business objectives and aligns with the team’s direction, exercising independent judgement in developing methods, techniques, architectures and standards for obtaining scalable solutions ensuring the solution are within the Group architectural recommendation.
  • Manage the delivery of business cases, project scope and required documents, test plans and roll-out communication whilst facilitating IT solutions planning and estimating phases and act as primary liaison during the development lifecycle.
  • Define and gain agreement on project budgets whilst creating and maintaining a cohesive and coordinated plan to deliver solutions that meet the stakeholders’ priorities within budget requirements.

About you

  • You will be tertiary educated in computer science or related field of study for software development and project/program management.
  • You will have acute understanding of IT technology concepts and software architectures with extensive knowledge across enterprise level business transformation and change within the organisation, agile methodologies, with full delivery lifecycle knowledge on complex, enterprise wide projects.
  • You will have strong negotiation and consensus building skills with an ability to build credible customer relationships across multiple customer groups. A proven team player.
