We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Eurest team located at our North Sydney (McMahons Point) office. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this is a hands-on position that will see you manage multiple sites and as an experienced operator, your emphasis will be on creating amazing customer experiences in conjunction with running a tight commercial operation.

The ability to coach teams, deliver amazing service and create an environment in which customers can experience the entirety of the Compass Group experience is conducive to success in this position.

THE POSITION

  • Build strong relationships with clients and develop a thorough understanding of all contractual requirements
  • Implement and deliver retail strategies and concepts for successful growth
  • Implement strategies to drive revenue and retail sales at unit level
  • Develop strategies for improving the delivery of quality products and services
  • Effectively manage budgeted revenue, labour targets, cost of goods and/or food targets and take corrective action when required
  • Develop a one team culture with focus on people development & succession planning
  • Lead a strong safety culture within portfolio
  • Support Business & Development team with new business opportunities
  • Manage operational efficiencies within portfolio, set demanding annual goals against work class standards, and seize commercial opportunities when appropriate

THE PERSON

  • A proven track record in Operational management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget
  • Ability to identify contract retention and new business opportunities
  • Able to build strong working relationship with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to drive key projects and business growth
  • A Business degree and/or qualification in Hospitality & Management are advantageous
