THE POSITION:

Reporting to the Manager, Workforce Systems, you will be responsible for providing training, support, administration and subject matter expertise to users of the various workforce systems to ensure that they can use the system. This is a casual contract located in our Sydney (McMahons Point) office which is a 10-minute walk from North Sydney Station.

  • Ensure workforce system configuration are managed and maintained to support effective workforce management across Compass Group
  • Training and coaching site managers in the use of Workforce Systems
  • Development and maintenance of systems documentation and training materials
  • Trouble shoot issues, develop solutions and work with workforce systems managers and business to implement solutions
  • Set up new employment terms as required to meet business needs, this includes new awards, agreements etc
  • Provide 1st line support to Site Managers on Deputy, Rostering & Scheduling queries

THE PERSON

  • Experience in systems administration of Workforce Systems e.g. Recruitment, Time & Attendance
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with business stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and organisation skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, OneNote
  • Strong communication and customer service skills – both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated Java, HTML coding  - would be great
  • Tertiary qualifications with an operational and service environment perspective are highly desirable.
