ESS Support Services Worldwide, part of Compass Group PLC, provide catering and associated services to the mining and construction industries. We currently have fantastic opportunities for experienced Kitchen Hand / Accommodation Cleaners to join our remote area casual pool on a Fly / Bus in Fly / Bus out basis from Townsville.

It is essential that you live in the Townsville area to be considered for these roles.

As an ESS relief Kitchen Hand / Cleaner (Utility) you will be  provide relief cover to various mining villages assisting the catering and housekeeping teams to provide exceptional customer service to our clients. On a daily basis you will work in either the Kitchen or Houskeeping department doing food prep, cleaning and set up of the dining area, dish washing, cleaning bathrooms & bedrooms, making beds, and cleaning communal areas.

Ideally for this roles we are looking for:

• Previous kitchen hand experience within a commercial catering, fast food or remote area environment
• Previous commercial cleaning experience from within a Resort or Hotel environment
• The proven ability to work well within teams
• Food Hygiene, Knife Skills and OH&S knowledge an advantage
• The ability to work at a fast and accurate pace unsupervised
• A QLD Manual drivers licence and a reliable vehicle.
