ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

The Position 

This role will see you based at our villages in Moranbah working a 14/7 roster with 10 hour days, which sees you home every 2nd weekend!

Candidates can either be DIDO from local and surrounding areas, BIBO ex Mackay or FIFO ex Brisbane.

As an Administration Supervisor you will be responsible for front desk attendance, management of accommodation systems, travel logistics and all aspects of general office administration. Assisting site management team with implementing administrative processes, coordinate workflow and liaise with various departments to deliver excellent customer service. Most importantly, you will be leading a team of five team members, therefore it is imperative that your leadership skills are impeccable.

The position will also include an element of retail; service, ordering, cashier and stocktake. You will also be expected to provide guidance and training team members while delegating work tasks to ensure smooth operations. 

The Person

  • Proven experience in admin supervision 
  • Cert II Business or higher is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience using an accommodation booking system within a busy hospitality or tourism environment
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • High standard of accuracy in data entry and attention to detail
  • A team player with a professional and friendly attitude, with the ability to relate to a diverse range of people, from front line staff to senior management
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
