Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement/Contracts Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will see you responsible for supporting the ongoing success of supplier and manufacturer planning and analysis to quantify cost savings opportunities. The key benefit of this is to provide administration and analytical skills to the Strategic Sourcing Manager and our internal and external customers.

Reporting into the Category Buyer you are a passionate & supportive team player who thrives in a process driven environment, but also knows how to steer through times of uncertainty & the ‘grey’. This role requires an autonomous self-starter who can maintain and develop successful relationships with numerous stakeholders geographically dispersed.

The main duties will include;

• Drafting and administering subcontractor agreements including payments, variations, final claims etc
• Support Foodbuy clients with subcontracting enquiries
• Support bid team with pricing for tender submissions
• Drafting scopes of works and tender packages to accompany request for quotations issued to subcontractors
• Pricing analytics of subcontractor quotations/pricing submissions
• Manage onboarding process of new subcontractors and suppliers
• Assist Category Manager and Senior Procurement Manager with daily tasks

Skills/Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualification or diploma in business administration or related discipline with experience gained from contract administration - interest in studying towards a CIPS qualification will be well regarded
• Subcontracting Experience Preferred – Waste Management, Pest Management, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Grounds Maintenance, Design and Construct/Fit Out
• Well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and ability in liaising and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven experience working effectively autonomously as well as within a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload
• Advanced excel skills preferred
