We currently have an opportunity for a dynamic leader to join our ESS business in the capacity of Area Manager for a WA portfolio in a Monday-Friday position. As an Area Manager you will need to inspire a team to create amazing customer experiences across a broad portfolio, whilst also ensuring we run a tight commercial operation. Understanding the commercial nuances of this managerial position is critical to the success of the business; it's brilliant leadership that is well and truly at the epicentre of this role.  The ability to coach teams, deliver amazing service and create an environment in which customers are able to experience the entirety of the ESS experience is conducive to success in this position.

Key Duties

• Overseeing multiple operations and ensure that they're performing to the highest standard including quality, cost, safety and service delivery, as well as ensuring the portfolio is managed commercially in line with growth and retention targets
• Develop the operational and safety leadership capabilities within assigned portfolio in order to provide exceptional service to our clients, drive growth across the sector and strengthen the brand
• Support client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to
• Create an environment which facilitates the sharing and effective utilisation of professional knowledge, skills and experience
• Effectively manage and empower every team member by providing them with the correct amount of support and development to optimise performance, deliver annual budgets and facilitate professional growth
• Firmly make your mark on the business; creating an inclusive, imaginative and inspiring environment which both employees and customers alike will benefit from

The Person

• Previous experience in management within the retail, hospitality or mining sector is necessary to be considered for this position
• Strong and effective leadership skills; the ability to support, motivate, effectively manage and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds is essential
• Passionate about high standards of delivery and levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
• Thorough understanding of the operational nuts and bolts that pertain to a successful business as well as the ability to accurately identify of areas improvement
• Qualifications in Hospitality & Management are advantageous
• The ability to work Monday – Friday in a corporate environment, as well as conduct regular site visits
