Medirest provides specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals and senior living facilities. We currently have an opportunity for a part-time Catering Assistant in a Residential Care Home in Cundletown. This role is based at one of Australia's beautiful aged care facilities with modern architecturally designed facilities with expansive country and garden views - an amazing location to work! We continually deliver exceptional food and service to those in our community and those travelling from afar. The Position
- Help aid the day to day operations of the catering services
- Assist with preparing and presenting food
- Ensure client/customer service and satisfaction by fostering relationships with key stakeholders
- Assist management to maintain procedures and actively engage in the site safety culture
- Other adhoc duties within capabilities
The Person
- Passion for hospitality and tourism
- Take pride in offering clients the best possible service
- Strong understanding of hygiene, food safety and handling
- Good communication skills
- Strong administration skills
- Team player and able to work autonomously
