THE POSITION

• Assist with preparing, portioning, and presenting meals, including assembling patient trays according to dietary requirements.
• Deliver meals directly to patient rooms, providing a friendly and respectful interaction while ensuring accuracy and care.
• Support patients with meal-related requests and communicate effectively with nursing staff and dietitians when required.
• Assist with kitchen duties including food prep, dishwashing, stock handling, and maintaining hygiene standards.

THE PERSON

• Demonstrates patience when interacting with patients and staff, ensuring their needs are met with care.
• Understands the importance of providing comfort through food, especially in a healthcare setting.
• Approaches tasks with a can-do attitude and a willingness to help others.
• Must have or be able to obtain a National Police Clearance.
