We are committed to delivering high-quality services that support operational efficiency while prioritising the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of everyone on site.

        The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Site Manager to support the leadership of a newly established remote village in South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved from the early stages of mobilisation, assisting with site setup and the transition into full operations of a brand-new village and facilities.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of site operations, supporting team leadership, service delivery, safety, and compliance across all departments.

This role will suit an emerging operational leader with strong hospitality or facilities management experience who thrives in a FIFO environment and is eager to develop their career within remote operations.

        Key Responsibilities

        • Support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations, including Catering, Cleaning, Facilities, and Administration
        • Assist with mobilisation and establishment activities for a new village, ensuring operational readiness
        • Provide leadership and support to onsite teams, promoting engagement, accountability, and performance
        • Ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with client and company expectations
        • Support budget management, cost control, and efficient resource utilisation
        • Maintain compliance with company policies, HSEQ standards, and contractual requirements
        • Assist with rosters, workforce planning, and staff development across departments
        • Build positive working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
        • Monitor site performance, reporting requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives
        • Ensure all health, safety, food safety (HACCP), and security procedures are followed at all times

        The Person

        • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a village, hotel, or hospitality operation
        • Strong operational exposure across catering, cleaning, and facilities services
        • Proven ability to support and lead teams in a FIFO or fast-paced environment
        • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
        • Commercial awareness with exposure to budgets, reporting, and cost control
        • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
        • Proactive, resilient, and adaptable, particularly within a mobilisation or start-up environment
        • FIFO experience is highly regarded

        The Benefits

        • Attractive 8:6 FIFO roster
        • Opportunity to be part of a new village build and mobilisation, contributing to operations from day one
        • Access to modern village facilities including gyms, pools, fitness classes, and social activities
        • Comprehensive training at our world-class training academy prior to site deployment
        • Ongoing leadership and professional development opportunities
        • Flights, accommodation, meals, and uniforms fully provided
