The Position:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages
- Greet guests warmly and interact with them to understand their beverage preferences
- Provide recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee area, including equipment and utensils
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed
- Work collaboratively with front and back of house team members to ensure efficient service
The Person:
- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role, preferably in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting
- Proficiency in preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including espresso-based drinks
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
