BMA Villages - Bar/Tavern & Retail Attendant

• $75,671 + Super
• 14 days on 7 days off, 10 hours per day – rotating day/night roster
• This position is drive-in/drive-out or bus-in, bus-out (ex Mackay) and would be ideal for candidates local to the Moranbah and Mackay regions

ESS provides a home away from home for people working in remote mining villages. We provide the hospitality solutions to ensure all guests are getting the comforts of home even in isolated locations.

ESS manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities or “villages” for remote workers, providing the essential comforts such as a hot meal, a clean bed, freshly laundered workwear to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home.

The Position:

Your role will consist of an array of tasks including but not limited to cleaning, serving alcohol, restocking retail, restocking alcohol, customer service, housekeeping & kitchen work if required.

The Person:

• Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality, Bar or similar 
• The ability to work in extreme remote conditions
• Team player and be flexible to work in all departments
• Ability to always follow safety policies and procedures
• Be physically fit and able to work 10-hour days
• Be able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
• Current drivers’ license & own transport
• Current RSA
• Standard 11 Certificate (Desirable)
