We’re excited to offer a rare opportunity for a seasoned Business Associate to join our Offshore Remote East Commercial team, based at our Brisbane head office in Cannon Hill.
This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, with a 38-hour week.
As the Commercial Business Associate, you’ll be the key commercial lead across our Offshore Remote East contracts, providing strategic financial support to our operations team.
The Role
- Deliver accurate and timely end-of-month management reporting, including P&L preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Drive invoicing accuracy, ensure contract compliance, and enhance commercial awareness across operational teams
- Provide financial and commercial guidance to operational managers
- Produce performance reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Lead and manage a team of two direct reports
- Support retention strategies, bid modelling, and business growth initiatives
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required
The Person
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
- CA or CPA qualification (highly desirable)
- Experience with Oracle accounting systems (desirable)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- Strong technical and analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence senior leadership
- Demonstrated experience in delivering advanced financial support and insights through well-presented analytics
- Skilled in budgeting and reporting across multiple service lines
