Catering Assistant

$25.86 per hour + Super

• Weekday afternoon shift (11:30 - 19:30) means no early mornings or late nights!

The Position

• Assist the kitchen to prepare and present food and beverages
• Provide friendly customer service
• Fast paced environment
• Operate the till to take orders and process transactions
• Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
• Adhering to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices.

The Person

• Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired
• Having an RSA licence is an advantage
• Must be able to work full time hours throughout the year
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Have strong organisational skills
• Excels in high-pressure environments
• Thrives in collaborative, small-team settings
• Possesses hands on experience with POS systems
• Friendly, customer-oriented attitude
• Being flexible to handle diverse tasks, from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time.
