Catering Assistant

$25.86 per hour + 25% Casual loading

Work close to home in Maddingley and enjoy having school holidays off as well
Monday to Friday - 8:30am – 2:30pm casual shifts with no weekend work
Be part of a small and supportive team for our junior school

About the Role

Based in Bacchus Marsh Grammar's Maddingley Campus
Assist the kitchen to prepare and present food and beverages
Provide friendly customer service
Fast paced environment
Operate the till to take orders and process transactions
Collaborating effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
Adhering to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices.

About You

Experience with customer service and basic food handling experience is desired
Some experience with coffee making is advantageous
Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
Have strong organisational skills
Excels in high-pressure environments
Thrives in collaborative, small-team settings
Possesses hands on experience with POS systems
Friendly, customer-oriented attitude
Being flexible to handle diverse tasks, from food prep to cleaning based on the needs at that time.
