We currently have an opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team based at a prestigious boys school in Lane Cove. You'll support the catering team at our Early Learning Centre for up to 80 children, including babies and infants.
Key Duties
Basic food preparation and assistance in cooking & presentation
Thorough cleaning of kitchen including dishes and floors
Stock rotation and stock control
Any other ad hoc duties as required by our fantastic Chefs and Management
Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
Apply catering control principles
The Person
Experience working within a commercial kitchen – childcare understanding and knowledge of early learning kitchens advantageous
Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
Desire to learn and grow
Can-do attitude
Will possess a Working With Children Check (or be able to obtain)
