Our opportunity: 

We are currently seeking a Part Time Catering Assistant to work in an award winning Aged Care facility in Wembley, WA. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic individual, who will become part of a supportive dynamic team.

Key duties include: 

  • Food preparation with knowledge of food allergens is preferred
  • Resident engagement
  • Ensuring to follow all health and safety procedures when caring out all tasks
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by our fantastic Chefs and Management
  • Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
  • Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Site Manager

To be successful in the role you will need: 

  • Demonstrate good customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail as well as flexibility to move from one task to another
  • Previous experience in catering, front of house and cleaning is highly desirable but NOT essential
  • Have a COVID-19 + Booster Vaccination Certificate 
  • Have your Influenza Vaccination (or be prepared to acquire)
  • Have a current National Police Clearance (or be prepared to acquire)
