Casual Catering Assistant

$28.00 per hour + 25% casual loading + 12% super

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm!
• between 38-40 hours per week!
• Based in Sydney CBD!

This exciting partnership has created a unique opportunity for an experienced Catering Asisstant to join our creative transformation client based in Sydney CBD!

THE POSITION:

• This role involves a significant amount of dishwashing, cleaning, manual handling, and other physical kitchen duties.
• We are looking  for someone who is comfortable with hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace, and enjoys being part of a supportive team
• Support food preparation, presentation, and replenishment while maintaining high service standards
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative to support both Front of House and Back of House operations as required
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment

THE PERSON:

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles
• Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, exceptional customer service, and great personal presentation
• Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety standards and procedures
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain) and full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification required
