Our Opportunity:  

As an essential services worker your role will be vital, and we’d love for you to be part of the team.  We are currently seeking a Catering Assistant to work within our MECWA senior living team based in Glen Iris. AM and PM's shifts available!

Key responsibilities will also include: 

  • Assist with preparing and presenting food
  • Deliver professional customer service
  • Kitchen and Dining Room Service of Food and Beverage to aged care residents
  • Fill out all the required paperwork i.e. temperature monitoring forms, cleaning rosters

To be successful in the role you will need: 

  • Previous experience within a Food and Beverage role - within Aged Care is advantageous
  • An eye for detail with excellent customer service standards
  • A sound knowledge in compliance driven catering techniques
  • Personable, a team player who has exceptional communication skills
  • Be COVID-19 vaccinated, plus booster
  • Have a National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Be 2022 Influenza Vaccinated (or willing to obtain)
