You will have a razor-sharp edge in leading people, overseeing new openings across multi-outlets & continually striving for business excellence.

The great things you will do

The Senior Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing Catering and the teams, at all the Food spaces in Melbourne. You’ll partner our incredible leaders & stakeholders to operationalise the food program.

Inspire a culture of food & workplace safety.  You’ll be responsible for the overall safe, efficient and appropriate management of operations

You will drive a culture of excellence & create an inclusive and diverse workplace. Motivates, trains, develops and directs team members to deliver exceptional service and accomplish daily goals and projects.

This position reports into the Head of Operations and will leverage their strong communication, hospitality and operational skills to partner with key stakeholders (culinary, marketing, concept development, procurement, risk management, operations and people approach) to promote standards, Food program expectations and enhance user (customer) experience.

  • Ability to take complex business issues or initiatives and apply creative problem solving or strategies for timely implementation
  • Proven ability to enhance profitability, sustainability and creativity across all channels in alignment with business strategy 
  • Proven coaching and teaching skills with peers, individuals, and teams
  • Ability to speak and present effectively in a group setting to Clients, Managers and our partner and represent the Food Program 
  • Proven experience managing multi-functional teams within the hospitality industry
  • Proven experience managing food and beverage operations across multiple locations
  • Proven ability to manage budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Knowledge and experience in business planning
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
