As an essential services worker your role will be vital, and we’d love for you to be part of the team.  We are currently seeking Catering Supervisor to work within our Vasey RSL Care team based in Frankston South.

Key responsibilities will also include: 

  • Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming style of service to all customers
  • Oversee a team of dedicated catering assistants
  • Develop a culture of teamwork, openness, responsibility and passion for quality
  • Drive service excellence and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate staff resources for operational and training requirements
  • Drive strong compliance performance supported by safety and quality audits

To be successful in the role you will need: 

  • We take pride in offering our residents the best possible service therefore its essential you have a caring and compassionate nature
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position - Senior Living or Hospitality
  • Good organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to provide training where required
  • Flexible approach and attitude
  • Team player and able to work autonomously
  • Flexible availability

You'll also need to:

  • In line with the required legislation, a valid and current police clearance and influenza vaccination (or be prepared to acquire).
  • From 17th September 2021 it is a legislative requirement for all senior living workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID 19.
