We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Chef to work at our Clermont site on a 14/7 roster.    Your responsibilities would be predominantly to prepare home-style meals and packed lunches for all employees working at the Clermont mine site.  For this exciting role, you must have a good level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift.  

This role would be suite someone who lives in the Mackay, Rockhampton, Blackwater, Emerald, Dysart, Moranbah or surrounding areas  

The Successful Candidate: 

• Is a trade qualified Chef and has completed at the minimum a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. 
• Has experience completing bulk cooking for up to and including 200 people in one sitting. 
• Is ready and able to work long shifts. 
• Has their own reliable transport.
• Is vaccinated against Covid 19. 
• Will pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and medical.
