We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced full time Chef at Kings College in St Lucia. This role would best suit those who have a retail and commercial background in cooking with plenty of functions and events experience for this prestigious boarding college position. This site operates across 7 days during the academic term.
As part of our recruitment selection process, the successful applicant for this role will need to obtain a current police check.
A day in the life:

- Contribute to menu ideas that explore fresh and locally inspired ingredients
- Play a key role in creating daily and weekly specials whilst staying abreast of new industry trends and developments.
- Keep a keen eye on stock control, wastage and labour
- Be an advocate, for food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Maintain consumer satisfaction
The Person
- An unwavering love of food and the art of cooking
- Experience in leading, mentoring and developing teams
- Experience in stock control, ordering, management of food costs, and budgeting
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating
- Have a genuine passion for using sustainable practices and local produce
