A bit about your new role:

We are now searching for a Full Time Chef to join our kitchen team based at our Calvary Cessnock Site. Forming part of our friendly kitchen team, you will work closely with our lead Chefs to prepare, cook and serve for our residents, you will bring joy to your work and have them rave about your cooking!

Some of your daily duties:

  • Prepare, cook and serve meals within a highly dietary and allergen-aware kitchen
  • Apply catering control principles; food safety, waste minimisation and cleaning
  • Responsible for maintaining food safety documents
  • Stock control and rotation

A bit about you:

  • Experience within an Aged Care setting would be great!
  • Passionate about dietary requirements and allergen management
  • Commitment to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
