Our opportunity: 

As an essential services worker your role will be vital, and we’d love for you to be part of the team.  We are currently seeking a Chef to work within our Kew Gardens team based in Kew. This role is responsible for overseeing the site operations, ensuring food and service is of a high quality, and residents are engaged with regularly and will involve cooking and administration duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily meals for consumption in line with Medirest standards and client expectations.
  • Providing consistent quality food.
  • Working closely alongside the Front of House team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

The Person:

  • the ability to be innovative and creative
  • a Certificate III Commercial Cookery is a must
  • ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner
  • a Flexible approach and attitude
  • excellent communication skills
  • hard working
  • previous experience Cooking in a similar environment would be highly advantageous
