We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager that can direct and lead the catering services team focusing on quality menu design, food preparation and service! The ideal candidate will have a good grasp of the operational and financial performances of this business and a hands-on approach to managing that will ensure success. You will need to be hands on manager that is still happy to be on the tools and support the team.

This role is based at a boarding school in North Sydney, a smaller boarding school with a supportive, passionate and hardworking team. The site provides daily food offerings across the Boarding areas. No late nights - the latest shifts could finish at 8pm. This role will suit an experienced chef with strong leadership qualities that is able to take responsibility for the operational and financial performance of this business.

• A natural leader with a unique approach to education catering bringing flair, warmth and outstanding cuisine in a friendly upmarket setting
• Your experience in the delivery of high-end corporate style functions is imperative as is your ability to navigate a team to success through leadership, training and safety compliance.
• You will be an energetic, progressive, creative professional who will remain pragmatic and focussed in an ever changing and challenging environment.
• The ability to foster close and positive working relationships with staff, key clients and customers is essential as are sound verbal and written communication skills.
