The Position
In a period of growth, we are looking for experienced Chef Manager's to join our team on a 2/1 roster on remote mine sites across WA. Implementing and continuously improving our culinary and cleaning services you will be working closely with senior operations to deliver contractual obligations. Your focus will be to manage a diverse team across all departments to provide an enhanced, standardised service while also lead in the overall food offerings and work across various shifts.
The Person
Previous experience managing a medium to large site with knowledge of both culinary and day to day running of a village.
Exceptional communication and relationship building abilities
Maintain a positive team culture
Experience with financial reporting and be commercial and contract focused
Display excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills whilst thinking on your feet
In-depth knowledge of health and safety, a strong commitment to safety to ensure targets are safely achieved
Sound Knowledge of HACCP
Ability to adapt quickly to ongoing business needs
Manage & lead the running of all aspects of the kitchen
Take responsibility for ordering and stock control
