We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Leader to join the Morrison Living team here at Compass as a Chef Manager based in Ryde to work with us in our Aged Care sector. This opportunity requires you to work predominantly Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 o’clock and 5:30pm with the occasional weekend if the business requires.

A bit about you

• You will be passionate qualified Chef 
• Desirably have previous experience in a similar role or as a Chef, the desire to take the next step in this Senior Living career opportunity.
• Be a strong leader and decision maker.  
• A good understanding of HACCP and food handling experience
• Excellent knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a dedicated team
• Attention to detail and great time management is a must
• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
• Have Intermediate computer literacy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be triple COVID Vaccinated 
• Must be 2022 Influenza Vaccinated
• Have a current Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one. 

 Key Duties include

• Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
• Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating as well as allergens and dietary requirements
• Ensure all OH&S compliance is achieved, and wastage is kept to a minimum
• Maintain current food and labour controls in line with onsite budgets.

• Deliver service that comes from the heart and served with a smile 
• Work in close partnership with our client to provide hands on leadership.
