Your role as a Chef located at Geelong Grammar Timbertop Campus, will play a vital piece in nurturing the health and well-being of Year 9 students, fostering independent thinking as they live away from home. In this hands-on role, you will take in the outdoor elements while working with a team that provides exceptional service to a prestigious school that prioritizes student development.

The Position:

• You will be working autonomously to deliver exceptional quality and service to the students and our client
• Ensuring all OH&S compliance is achieved, adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures
• Ensure all catering controls are in place and wastage is kept to the minimum
• Offer guidance and support to the kitchen team where needed, to ensure a great experience for all customers
• Enhance workplace culture – display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas and be flexible to meet the needs of the business

The Person:

• You will be a qualified Chef with Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• You will have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Experience in high volume cooking
• Be a team player, but also be able to work autonomously
• Attention to detail and great time management is a must
• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
• Ability to obtain or have a valid working with children's check
