Full time opportunity for a Chef Supervisor to join our team at RAAF Williamtown. You will be a Hospitality professional and will take great pride in providing an awesome customer experience and creating amazing food.
This position will see you oversee a small team, catering to our clients within the defence sector. On an average day you will be responsible for catering and functions for our defence personnel and you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen. You must have solid catering experience, including bulk meal production, varied function experience and outstanding customer service.
Key duties

Ensure efficient operation of the kitchen;

Completing stock control, ordering, hygiene, menu planning, safety awareness & staff control duties

Organising your daily work load achieve high quality output in volume
-
Implementing and observing relevant safety & hygiene practices

Organising and planning functions

Ensuring outstanding customer service is provided to clients
The person:
-
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
-
Previous experience in a similar role
-
Experience building and maintaining customer relationships
-
Solid knowledge of quality management systems
-
Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards
-
Proven ability to lead a team
-
Reliable transport as there are no public transport options
