ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

Due to anticipated growth on our Heathgate Beverley Village in South Australia, we have exciting opportunities for trade qualified chefs.

• 14 days on 7 days off - 11 hours per day 
• Full Time salary $97,155
• Accommodation/ meals Provided whilst at work
• Flights provided from Adelaide

The Position:

• Bulk cooking experience & Cert 111 Commercial Cookery required
• Prepare buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib lunch, or Dinner and Desserts
• You will work within a team of Chefs, kitchen utilities & dining room employees to deliver exceptional quality and service to the village residents
• Adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures
• Ensure all catering controls are in place & wastage is kept to the minimum
• Offer guidance and support to the kitchen team where needed, to ensure a great experience for all customers
• Enhance workplace culture – display high levels of customer service, contribute ideas and be flexible to meet the needs of the business

The Person:

• Strong team player with the ability to multitask in a high-paced environment
• Trade certified chef holding a minimum Cert 111 Commercial Cookery 
• Experience within bulk catering/ cooking environments
• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures & operations
• Must have a National Police Clearance within the last 12 month
• Must provide valid Passport or Birth Certificate + Photo ID
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
