We currently have a vacancy for a Chef or an experienced Cook to join one of our client’s internal workplace cafes located in Melbourne.  

Working closely with your kitchen colleagues, you'll play a pivotal role in providing an innovative, varied & delicious menu. We're a busy site, offering a variety of food options for our client’s site.

Key Duties

• Assist in producing delicious culinary offerings
• Maintain an awareness and present options for nutritional healthy eating
• Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation and stock control.
• Assist the Cafe manager with other day to day requirements

The Person

• Experience as a Chef/Cook in a high-volume environment
• Able to use own initiative to help others and carry out extra tasks when required
• Talent and drive to work under pressure, unsupervised and to tight deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
