The Position

• Food preparation
• Cleaning, temperature recording and allergy recording
• Contribute to menu ideas using fresh, local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen and service area
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

The Person

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen for 1+ years   
• Working with Children Check is essential, or ability to obtain
• Proficiency with cooking in bulk quantities
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Eye for detail and great with time management
• Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently
