Restaurant Associates are a team of world class hospitality and fine-cuisine professionals, delivering contemporary food solutions and service across leading corporations and iconic venues all across Australia.

We are looking for a vibrant, hands on Cook to join us at Westpac located in the heart of the Sydney CBD.  This is an exciting  opportunity for an experienced Cook to be part of a busy team within a corporate catering environment. This Monday to Friday role will  require you to assist the kitchen team and support the preparation of food offerings in this premium corporate venue.

Key Duties

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting food 
  • Taking responsibility for the food production with high standards
  • Receive and store kitchen supplies, assist in stock-taking, general cleaning and kitchen maintenance 
  • Maintaining health and safety and food safety standard 
  • Assist with developing menus to meet special dietary and cultural needs
  • plan, prepare and display buffets, and assist with boardroom catering
  • Adherence to Compass Safety culture, policies and procedures

The Person

  • Experienced Cook with a relevant corporate background 
  • The ability to work under pressure yet produce quality
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Good knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality
  • An understanding of Food Safety and Safety in the workplace

Salary On Offer: 

$55,000 - $60,000

Please note a current Police check (or willingness to provide) is mandatory for this role
