Due to expansion within our corporate team, we have a new opportunity for a dedicated Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator to work within our national People team. This role can be located in either Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney, with flexible WFH options available. Working within our internal Diversity and Inclusion team, you will be partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support the development and rollout of projects, plans and initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating, supporting and promoting Diversity and Inclusion projects and initiatives
  • Partner with our People Services Team to develop mechanisms that foster a more inclusive environment
  • Liaise extensively with internal and external stakeholders, individuals, site managers, staff, and externally with Clients, partners and agencies to progress D&I initiatives within Compass Group
  • Regularly reviewing project and program activities and services to optimise business outcomes
  • Be the first point of contact for advice regarding Diversity and Inclusion metrics & initiatives to all levels of the business

The Person

  • Understanding Diversity and Inclusion and designated EEO Groups
  • Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture
  • Strong project management skills, successful teaming with colleagues, and a strong results orientation.
  • Ability to coordinate projects & programs
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A flexible approach and attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity.
  • A highly effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage team, peers, and leaders.
