The Position:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Amenity Services Melbourne operations, ensuring alignment with the requirements of our client.
  • Proactively work towards exceeding the client’s expectations and achieving the expected 5-star standard through hands-on leadership, team training, and personal standards.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of catering, meeting room booking processes, kitchen operations, front of house service, and reception services.
  • Effectively align systems and procedures in line with contractual agreements for our Melbourne location.
  • Manage performance of the team, ensuring solid standards and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and report hazards and ensure appropriate measures are undertaken to eliminate or minimise the risk of incidents occurring in the future.
  • Ensure the client set KPIs are met or exceeded.

The Person:

  • Essential Experience in delivering 5-Star hospitality (ideally Fine Dining, 5-Star Hotels, or high-end Corporate Hospitality).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and managing teams of service professionals.
  • Possesses a strong Culinary Background (formal training or extensive experience is highly regarded).
  • Is uncompromising in the pursuit of high levels of customer satisfaction to deliver a 5-star experience every time.
  • Highly experienced in utilising Booking systems and Procurement systems, and possesses excellent presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated solid track record in Performance Management.
  • Pre-Opening Experience of Hospitality spaces (ideally in a Leadership role) is highly desirable.
  • Strong and effective leadership skills; the ability to support, motivate, effectively manage and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
