The Position

Reporting to the National Credit & Treasury Manager at our Perth Head Office, you will be working autonomously in a Credit Officer position, within the Finance team. This position is 5 days a week and you will have the opportunity to have an early finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising invoices, matching up spreadsheets with correct allocation of revenue
  • Raising credit notes on request from site/area manager/commercial accountants after reviewing invoice history
  • Maintain quick reference sheets for individual billings to "the client" including the clients preferred billing procedures.
  • Maintain supporting excel schedules backing up invoices
  • Send out invoices on time and ensure it is going to the correct person/ department.
  • Back charge reconciliation and recovery of revenue not billed out
  • Following month end procedure to ensure revenue is billed or accrued
  • Following up on accrued billing to ensure billed in following period
  • Liaising with our sites to trouble shoot with invoicing issues
  • Processing journals to correct expenses or revenue

The Person

  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Fast data entry skills
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts
  • Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Experience with Oracle and Microsoft Access would be advantageous
