As the Distribution Lead, you will be responsible for managing and optimising the distribution network across Compass Group operations. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, logistics providers, and suppliers to enhance service levels, improve cost efficiency, and ensure product availability across multiple locations. This role demands strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive performance across the end-to-end supply chain.
Lead national distribution planning and execution, ensuring efficient and reliable service to all Compass Group sites.
Manage logistics partnerships and distribution contracts, ensuring performance standards and cost targets are met.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, and suppliers to identify service gaps and implement improvements.
Oversee distribution data, reporting, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Develop and deliver strategic initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive business outcomes.
Experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations, preferably in FMCG or food services.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
Proven track record in project delivery, continuous improvement, and change management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of distribution systems, vendor performance metrics, and logistics platforms.
