We are seeking a dedicated Diversity & Inclusion Partnerships Advisor to help drive our commitment through the development and management of strategic external partnerships.
Role Overview: The Diversity & Inclusion Partnerships Advisor plays a pivotal role in enhancing our internal diversity initiatives and recruitment efforts by fostering relationships with external stakeholders, including community organisations, educational institutions, industry groups, and government bodies. This position will leverage these partnerships to secure funding, incentives, and resources that support our diversity and inclusion goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote D&I initiatives to partners, management, and employees.
Implement specific D&I initiatives and projects across Compass Group shared services and business sectors.
Identify and cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including community organisations, educational institutions, and government agencies.
Develop strategic partnerships to support diversity and inclusion objectives, including recruitment initiatives.
Generate a structured reporting framework to provide information, data, and outcomes related to activities and outcomes.
Work with external partners to design and implement programs that support and promote diversity and inclusion.
Organise and facilitate workshops, seminars, and networking events to enhance D&I engagement and awareness.
Coordinate the recruitment of suitable participants, involving local community, site management, and clients as required.
Ensure all candidate supporting documentation is completed and aligned with recruitment requirements.
Represent the organisation at external conferences, forums, and meetings related to diversity and inclusion.
Provide mentoring support to employees and participants in projects/programmes.
Assist in facilitating Work Readiness training to prepare participants for employment with Compass Group.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Understanding of governance requirements related to funded program delivery.
Ability to manage and oversee projects.
Demonstrated experience in developing and managing external partnerships, particularly in a diversity and inclusion context.
In-depth knowledge of diversity and inclusion principles and challenges.
Desirable:
Understanding of recruitment and sourcing techniques.
Experience in identifying, securing, and managing grants and funding from Australian government programs and philanthropic organisations.
Familiarity with Australian funding programs and grant applications.
