Overall Purpose of the Role

This role is responsible for the successful coordination and functions, including client (internal and external) liaison, dining operations and coordination of function marketing materials. Additionally the role may be required to offer administration support to the site’s management team.  Adherence to Our Safety Culture framework is expected.

Role Duties and Requirements

  • Plan for functions and events
  • Facilitate the smooth running of function / event
  • Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback
  • Liaise with kitchen and service teams regarding room set up
  • Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming service to customers and clients

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a function venue or similar environment - ideal for someone who has just kick-started their Functions Coordination career!
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience in front of house service and room set ups
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficiency in Priava, or other similar event management software
