The Role!

We are seeking someone who has an eye for detail, the elegant, the glamorous and the quirky and enjoys leading a team! At Sydney Town Hall, we are at the forefront of all thing’s events and functions - Corporate, High-profile, Discreet, Celebrity and everything in between! Be assured, this role will challenge and engage you on a daily basis. Key Duties:

  • Client management, event planning and operational set up to deliver successful functions
  • Conduct regular site inspections, client follow-ups and liaison, creating detailed event orders, floor-plans and invoicing 
  • Work cooperatively with the rest of the operations and kitchen teams in regard to handing over functions to ensure seamless delivery
  • Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback
  • Working directly with preferred suppliers where required  
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the team and drive for success 

About You!

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience managing high calibre of events, functions and galas
  • Desire to be hands on leader that motivates their team
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Proficiency in event management software or strong IT skill
