As things return to ‘normal’ in our fabulous city, we have exciting and fascinating events on the horizon at Old Parliament House/The Museum of Australian Democracy and we are now on the lookout for a great Events Supervisor to come and join the ride with us. This role would suit a hospitality Supervisor or Team Leader who is looking for that opportunity to take the next step in their career within the events and function space.

The position is Full Time and will see you:

• Partner with the Functions Manager to oversee a range of events, from intimate to large
• Assist with staff briefings prior to the event
• Liaise with the kitchen to understand the culinary offering
• Guide and lead your team throughout the course of the event
• Take a hands-on approach to meet with guests and trouble shoot any queries

We are looking for someone who is:

• An experienced Food & Beverage professional who is agile and able to ‘think on their feet’
• Passionate about fantastic service standards
• Loves great food and wine (who doesn’t?!)
• Comfortable in a fast and busy environment
