Key Duties:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of events, ensuring seamless execution from setup to conclusion.
  • Collaborate closely with the Functions Manager and Operations Manager to deliver high-profile events with precision and professionalism.
  • Lead and inspire a team to exceed guest expectations, delivering exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Coordinate team schedules and rosters to align with event requirements, ensuring efficiency and readiness.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during events, addressing guest feedback and resolving issues promptly.
  • Train, mentor, and support the team, fostering a motivated and professional environment.
  • Maintain a meticulous approach to event preparation, ensuring all details align with client expectations.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in supervising operations for large-scale events or hospitality functions.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a strong eye for detail.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required by the events schedule.
  • A thorough understanding of food and beverage service and event operations.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour, with the confidence to interact with high-profile clients and guests.
