We are looking for an experienced and reliable Executive Housekeeper to join our team based at a busy hotel chain in Brisbane.  With your experience and high standard of service, you will engage with a variety of business and leisure travellers, be self-motivated, well presented and have exceptional customer service skills. 

To be successful in these roles, you will have: 

  • Current or recent experience as a cleaner in a Executive or Supervisory role within hospitality or commercial environments 
  • Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
  • Experience with operating cleaning equipment
  • Good communication skills and well-spoken English
  • Able to work across a 7-day roster 
  • Physically fit and reliable

The Role:

  • Issue keys, keeping accurate and appropriate records of key movement on a daily basis, ensuring all keys are accounted  for close of day
  • Report any missing keys immediately to either the Contract Manager or PFM
  • Prepare all daily operational reports required, including but not limited to, the daily allocation of Room Attendant assignments, Amenity reports, linen usage reports, staff uniform usage report, productivity reports
  • Respond promptly in accordance with hotel policy using a friendly courteous manner to all telephone requests (including guest and non guest) noting details and following u accordingly
  • Receive action and/ or distribute all inter-department messages and requests
  • Monitor and follow – up all priority, VIP and arrival rooms
  • Maintain an up to date record of Lost and Found items in the hotels ‘Property Management System and logbook
  • Update room status record in the hotel’s Property Management System throughout the day to ensure up-to-the-minute and accurate room status at all times
