ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines, and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
THE POSITION:
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to high standards, considering dietary requirements and guest preferences
- Deliver exceptional service to staff, residents, and guests
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following food safety and hygiene protocols
- Adapt to different environments and kitchens while consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences
THE PERSON:
- A minimum in Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Experience in fast-paced environments, ideally in remote site kitchens
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques
- High-volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience
- Provide updated national police clearance not more than three months
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening
