  • FIFO/DIDO from Perth (14/7 or 8/6 roster)

The Role

As a Chef Supervisor or Head Chef, you’ll take charge of kitchen operations across remote sites, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service. This is a leadership role where you’ll guide your team, develop menus, and create inclusive dining environments that support people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day kitchen operations on site
  • Ensure all food production meets HACCP and operational safety standards
  • Mentor and develop team capability while fostering inclusivity
  • Design menus and meal plans that meet dietary and cultural requirements
  • Maximise stock utilisation and maintain cost‑effective operations
  • Work under pressure while maintaining professionalism and service quality

About You

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Strong function and menu development skills
  • Proficient computer skills for planning and reporting
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Able to pass pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and national police clearance
  • Flexible and resilient to thrive in a FIFO/DIDO roster environment
