At 28 Villages, we provide remote accommodation, catering and support services to mining companies operating in remote Western Australia. We deliver village management services, bringing our villages to life through friendly customer service and outstanding catering.
We’re on the lookout for an experienced and adaptable Village Manager to support the smooth operation of our remote village sites across WA. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on variety, builds strong team culture, and delivers exceptional resident experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Village Manager, you’ll lead and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards in service delivery, safety, and team performance. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and mentoring village teams (kitchen, housekeeping, cleaning, retail, etc.)
Ensuring smooth operations and continuity of service
Managing client and resident relationships with a customer-first mindset
Upholding compliance, safety, and quality standards
Reporting, budgeting, and general administrative duties
Supporting site morale, team engagement, and positive culture
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Previous experience managing or supervising remote village operations
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Calm under pressure, adaptable, and solutions-focused
Understanding of HSEQ, HACCP, and FIFO compliance requirements
Ability to lead diverse teams with confidence and empathy
Role Requirements:
Valid Manual drivers licence
Approved Managers licence
Proficient in using INX Software
Good computer skills using the Microsoft Suite
Prior experience in Management of remote mining villages
Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen
National Police Clearance, or willing to obtain one
Safety and Training qualifications will be highly regarded.
