ESS Defence provides food service and hospitality support to Defence sites across Australia. We deliver high quality meals and service that support the wellbeing of Australian Defence Force personnel.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Food & Beverage Attendant / Kitchenhand to join our team at RAAF Base Amberley. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety across customer service, food service and kitchen operations while working in a supportive team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with food preparation, meal service and cleaning duties
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Support dining room and food service operations
• Assist with dishwashing and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
• Support chefs during meal service
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards
• Keep work areas clean, organised and safe

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in hospitality, food service, kitchen or customer service preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
