The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Heidelberg.  The hours of work range from 6:30am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday.

The Person

• Previous kitchen and café F&B attendant experience in a hospital environment is desirable
• Passion for food & service
• Strong communication skills to liaise with customers
• Ability to work unsupervised
• An eye for detail with excellent customer service standards
• Reliable, flexible & a great team player
• An understanding of food safety legislation as well as sound OH&S conscious practices.

In line with the required legislation, a valid and current police check and working with children's check will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position.

Key Duties

• Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming style of service to all customers
• General cleaning duties as required
• Coffee making along with food prep; candidates should have basic food handling experience
• Perform other duties within his/her capabilities as required by Supervisor or Manager
